Duration
3 months — Aug to Oct 2024
Overview
This project focused on designing a detailed 3D CAD model of an electrical control panel and gauge panel, translating technical requirements into an accurate digital representation. The project required balancing functional constraints, spatial organization, and manufacturing considerations while creating a clear visual model of the final assembly.
Challenge
Electrical systems require precision. Components must fit within strict spatial constraints while allowing for accessibility, organization, and proper installation. The challenge was to transform technical specifications into a detailed 3D model that accurately communicated component placement, assembly relationships, and overall system design.
Outcome
I created a fully developed CAD model that demonstrated precise component placement and spatial planning, organized electrical layouts, accurate 3D visualization of the final assembly, and technical communication through digital modeling. This project strengthened my ability to think spatially, work within constraints, and use design tools to solve complex technical problems.
